PROJECT 5 STORYBOARD & TUTORIAL
For my final, I wanted to use the diner scene monologue from the movie "Mulholland Drive", where the character talks about a certain "man". This excerpt confused me originally, but I later learned that this scene was neither dream nor reality, it was a sort of inbetween liminal space. I wanted to make a collage type editorial animation/edit, using text and imagery together. This will be more artistic rather than informational (no puppets or characters). 
This is a neat idea! I'm excited to see what visuals you come up with this, seeing as it isn't a very literal scene

ReplyDeleteI am very excited to see how you will differ from the original monologue. Working with something that was already in a film seems like it would be both easier and harder in different aspects. Super cool!
